hey, i’m lou!
I’m a coach for new and established Virtual Assistants. I always dreamed of being my own boss – of being proud of my work and finding joy in my work every day. But the truth is making the leap to being my own boss was scary and it was easier to stay in my comfort zone as an employee.
I spent hours dreaming of that one day my dream would come true …
The day I’d have the flexibility to work with amazing people doing work I love. The flexibility to go for a walk on the beach in the middle of the afternoon (gasp!). The flexibility to work from anywhere in the world and to work the hours that work for me.
Then the world as we all know it changed. Along came Covid and I was made redundant from my full-time position. I’m not going to lie, it was tempting to take to the sofa and spend my day bingeing Netflix …
But I knew that ‘one-day’ had arrived. It was my time to face the fear of failure and start a business as a VA. It was time to follow my dreams.
Spoiler alert: facing the fear and following my dreams was one of my best decisions. Within six week (yes, 6 weeks) I had to close my books. I had no capacity to take on new clients.
So now I’m helping new and established VAs realise their dreams – of being their own boss – or scaling their business.
